Andy Pittman, owner of Cabinet Cures in Raleigh-Durham, and his team of cabinet refacing professionals are committed to “Excellence as our Standard.” His team is not happy until you are happy. Our goal is for you to love your updated cabinetry and we are honored to share some cabinet refacing rave reviews from a few of our happy customers!
Many homeowners today are saving money by “refacing” rather than completely replacing their existing kitchen cabinets.
Cost vs. Value Report
Replacing dated cabinetry doors could get you a higher return on investment than other major remodels.
We were extremely pleased with their work and the final product looks outstanding. In particular, the job was painstakingly done and their carpenters proved extremely well skilled. The manager, worked hard to accommodate our needs and budget, and was extremely helpful in suggesting ideas and ways of doing the work. The carpenters were not only very competent but also polite and friendly. They worked quietly and cleaned up after they finished. I can recommend this company without hesitation.
I would highly recommend Cabinet Cures of the Triangle. The process was quick and painless and the end result surpassed my expectations. The level of professionalism and dedication to their craft is unparalleled. Beyond satisfied!
Refaced my existing kitchen cabinets, replaced some of the cabinets with drawers, converted a small useless kitchen desk to a more functional area with drawers and a wine rack, and added space for pull-out trash at the end of the kitchen island.
All work was done in less than 5 days by a crew of really terrific craftsmen who work well together, have a fabulous, cheerful attitude, and did a great job. All of the work was done on time and there was little to no mess throughout the process. They answered all of my questions and the entire job went very smoothly from start to finish. My kitchen went from looking dated and drab to clean and functional Refacing was a good option for me because it was cheaper than a complete tear-out/replacement and less wasteful. Since I didn’t want to move any of the major components this worked out to be an ideal option.
I like that the cabinets were refaced with real wood rather than cheap veneer and little touches like the decorative panels on the end and back of the island make the whole space look like a “designer” kitchen. The drawers are beautifully constructed and make the space much more functional. I have so much more room now! Overall I am very pleased and would recommend this company to anyone thinking about a kitchen upgrade but doesn’t need brand new cabinets. After this process mine look good as new!

Good morning, Andy. I wanted to send this note to thank you and Cabinet Cures for the amazing transformation of our kitchen cabinets. My husband and I are very happy with the outcome. Our kitchen cabinets have gone from aged and boring to a bright, clean and modern look. Melvin and his team were courteous and committed to doing an excellent job. They covered our floors from the entry door to the kitchen. They cleaned up after working inside and outside. Andy, your team was complimentary of you and your work ethics. I recall a conversation where Melvin mentioned the importance of your commitment to customer satisfaction.
I interviewed a number of companies but after our initial conversation, l felt I could trust you with a task I had never undertaken before. Additionally, Cabinet Cures offered numerous cabinet options. From the beginning, you were approachable and personable. You took the time to explain the process so I felt I could trust your honesty and your recommendations (which were right on point). I hosted my book club meeting and received rave reviews on the transformation from my friends.
Feel free to use me as a reference for any future recommendation or testimony. I am a delighted customer and will be happy to recommend you and your company to anyone I know who is in the market of cabinet refacing.

Cabinet Cures redid our cabinets in the kitchen, laundry room, and jack/jill bathroom. All cabinets were refaced. Base cabinets were changed into drawers. All drawers and doors are now on soft close hinges. The visible end of each cabinet was upgraded to reflect the door style. A useless kitchen desk was removed and replaced with a base unit of drawers and the upper cabinet above received glass doors.
The installation and workmanship far exceeded our expectations. Installation started and ended on time. Each piece of cabinetry was fabricated correctly and the installers were courteous and professional. All work equipment was removed at the end of each day and floors were swept.
Our neighbors are so impressed with our new cabinets. I would have never dreamed that 3 of our rooms could be transformed in such a short time and with so little disruption.
We want to give a special thanks to our crew. Doug and Josh were the mainstays and reworked the kitchen and laundry room. Their craftsmanship shows in the mitered corners and fittings of each cabinet. Plus they gave guidance on hardware when I was undecided and asked. Never discount the advice of someone who does the job everyday! Jam reworked the bathroom cabinetry and once again the work is superb. On seeing the bathroom cabinet, the only thing my sister could say was “Wow”. We also want to mention Melvin who came in to lend a hand – again professional work and great attitude.
Andy is the owner of this company and I mention this because his team remarked on more than one occasion on how much they appreciated his support and trust in their work. Great team and company.
When we decided to renovate our kitchen last summer, we initially contacted three different contractors specializing in cabinet refacing. We chose Cabinet Cures of the Triangle, because we were most impressed by presentation given by the owner, Andy Pittman. Andy explained whole process in detail, gave us the initial estimate for the materials and labor, and answered any questions we had. We also received introductory materials including detailed description of work to be performed each day of the project.
The project was not just straightforward refacing. It included replacing cabinets on both sides of the kitchen oven to make space for a new standard size 30-inch range. Our old range was a non-typical 24 inches wide. We also liked Andy’s creative suggestions to replace shelves in one of the floor cabinets (which wasn’t very functional) with three big drawers to hold all our pots; as well as adding an additional door to the island part of the counter, for an easy access. With all that, Andy’s price was about the same as the other estimates. Also, the samples of the doors he brought with him looked to be of better quality, and finer craftsmanship. We made an agreement about the start date of the job.
Before that date, we were invited to Cabinet Cures showroom to make final choice of the style and color, and talk about details. Andy Pittman was very helpful during this process. He is a very good listener, and he communicates with a customer in a professional and clear way. As promised, the work was done in less than a week. The whole crew worked fast and with skill, and they were always willing to listen to our comments or requests for minor changes. The corrections were made quickly and without showing any resentment or impatience. The final result exceeded our expectations! Our kitchen is brighter and seems bigger now. We have been absolutely happy with the Cabinet Cures services, and we would recommend them to anyone.
The plans were made with Andy, pulls were chosen and there was minimal preparation for the installation. The crew was wonderfully warm and friendly. They worked fast! They cleaned up their mess and even in the bathroom, though I didn’t want them to. (I needed an excuse to go out to eat.) There was a problem with an ope nshelf that wasn’t going to fit in the plan so Joe designed a new one. We also wanted a new outlet in the island-done deal. That made me very happy. The doors and drawers are soft close and my kitchen is super organized. I even have space in the drawers with nothing in it. Andy’s crew is entertaining and does thorough and excellent work. We couldn’t be more pleased with our kitchen and bathroom.
Cabinet Cures should be named Cabinet Miracles, blessing and all the positives adjectives one could think of. I thank Andy and his staff for turning one of the worse experiences into an awesome ending. Andy and his team save my kitchen by transforming a previously completed horrible job into beauty. I love the cabinet refacing job. MY CABINETS ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!. Andy came in after my insurance adjuster and I reach out to him, and informed him of the nightmare I was involve in. He look the cabinets over and shared some ideas. I reviewed the refacing process and was very impressed. I went to the show room and despite me changing my color three times he was very gracious and just wanted me to be happy. I thank you for that most of all. His staff was on time, very neat and professional. My doors came in earlier then projected my job was completed earlier then anticipated. I called everyone I know and sent pictures of my new cabinets. I would recommend him to all he is the best!!!!!!!!!!!. Thank you.
I cannot praise Cabinet Cures of the Triangle highly enough. Andy has extensive experience in the appliance and construction industry and holds himself and his staff to extremely high standards. Since every kitchen is “custom” in its own way, they anticipate any problems that may occur in the kitchen. They discuss their approach and workarounds in advance. Their products are the highest quality. They come when they say they will and do what they say they will do. The finished product is a WOW inspiring professional makeover AND Andy goes above and beyond to get the final product correct. The cost is not insignificant but certainly well in line with the value and well worth the upgrade in the total look of the house. You won’t be sorry to work with this firm!
Tired of old kitchen? Call Cabinet Cures! We were debating whether to replace the kitchen cabinets. After reviewing the likely cost, we looked at the alternative of refacing them. The short story is we did reface them rather than replace them, and we concluded that if your cabinets are structurally sound, it is foolish to spend the money to replace them if you call Cabinet Cures! … And the rest of the story: Cabinet Cures came to the house, measured, and worked with us to select doors, drawers, colors… They provided us with an estimate and suggestions on changes we could make to improve the storage in the kitchen.
Next we got a date and they were there as scheduled. Now it gets really good: Three guys showed up and went to work. We honestly have never worked with service professionals any nicer, accommodating, tidier, and—most importantly—really good at what they do. We expected the kitchen disaster you see on TV renovations. Not so. Our kitchen was useable every day because they cleaned up everything before they departed for the day, and because you don’t need to empty the cabinets and drawers. How nice is that? When these guys were done (about 5 days in our case), our kitchen was transformed and look exactly as if we had replaced everything.
The workmanship was simply outstanding. We then got our appliances and when the oven didn’t fit correctly, they returned and modified the cabinet so it would work—quite a bit of work actually to make it right. And, of course, they did make it right. The bottom line is these people are phenomenal in all stages of the project, a joy to work with, and will do whatever it takes to make their customers happy. Rare but true: They were simply perfect in our case. If you need a facelift on old cabinets anywhere in the house; you really should call Cabinet Cures for a consult.
I can’t say ENOUGH about Andy, Joe and the whole Cabinet Cures team. I’ve been meaning to write this review for some time, but it’s top of mind because I am working with them on a second project now. Their work is impeccable. Beautiful attention to detail and quality. And their responsiveness and service is unparalleled. What a GREAT way to freshen up – or completely overhaul – a kitchen or bath! I highly recommend!
I did a ton of homework before remodeling my kitchen. Cabinet Cures was the most helpful and best value of all the choices I considered. The sales person came over many times to help me figure out exactly what I wanted to do and exerted no pressure on me to purchase. Once I decided to have Cabinet Cures do the work, they came in as they said they would, completed the work on time, cleaned up after themselves, were polite and professional fixing any problems as they came up. The owner also came by multiple times to make sure I was happy. My kitchen is amazing now! Such a change!
Cabinet Cures has an excellent show room to illustrate possible changes to your existing cabinets. In addition they visit your house to explain design options you may want to consider. Finally, once you have made decision on style, they bring their Supervisor of Installation to your house of a detail measurements The Cabinet Cures team is dedicated to make the customer happy. Their employee are very professional, courteous, and on on time. I highly recommend this company for creating cabinets that are very upscale and add value to your home.
We had several estimates on new kitchen cabinets VS refacing. The new cabinets were of course a lot more expensive . To be also quite honest the reface door quality was better by far .. It was most important to us to gain pantry space during the remodel , and have a cabinet trolley for garbage and if I had my preferences I wanted my oven moved from the middle of my kitchen over to the refrigerator . So I talked to Andy and Joe at Cabinet Cures and they suggested that we take down the kitchen desk and build a pantry hutch and drawers and they also were able to move the wall oven and then change a cabinet over to its space. My storage issues were totally resolved with room to spare. They even added aprox a 6 inch cabinet for a garbage trolley that fits a can for recycle and garbage.
We were so pleased with the quality of work , the team was so professional and a pleasure to have in our home . We are going to have them do our bathrooms next. The saleslady was such a delight to have in our home , she paid attention to all of our request and was very patient with all of our questions and had a no pressure approach. I would highly recommend Cabinet Cures of the Triangle they are a top notch company that delivered quality customer service , and I knew they appreciated our business . I could not be happier .
All work was done as described on time, to highest standards. Cabinets are beautiful. Love, love love my cabinets.
Hosted Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in our “new” kitchen. The cabinets clean up so nice and close like ‘butter.’
I just had my kitchen remodeled by Cabinet Cures of Raleigh. I am so pleased with the new look. I went from dark, stained 1980s-style cabinets to crème chocolate glazed cabinets with trim detail. I converted all of my bottom cabinets to built-in drawer boxes with easy-glide closing hardware. My island was changed to black glazed solid wood panels and now my island, which was a constant eyesore, is the focal point of the kitchen. The island looks like a beautiful piece of furniture. I have so much more storage now and can easily access all of my kitchen/cooking items. Working with Cabinets Cures of Raleigh has been a pleasure from my first contact with Paige, who came to my home to measure and offer me truly custom options to design cabinets that fit my storage needs. My kitchen has unusual angles and space constraints, and Cabinet Cures was able to work within my existing kitchen without a glitch.
The project continued with Andy Pittman, the owner, coming to my home with Joe to measure the entire kitchen three times for absolute accurate measurements. Everyone I worked with was professional and skilled at their craft. The team of Joe, Melvin, and Archie completed my entire kitchen in three days, as scheduled. Each evening, my kitchen was left clean and in working order so my family was never without a working kitchen. I am so happy with the results and enjoyed working with such a caring and dedicated team. They take pride in their work and my results show a beautiful new kitchen, which is a joy to work in. I recommend Cabinet Cures without any reservation.
They guaranteed to be done in 5 (five!) days. and they were!!! Not only did they finish “on time” but also “on budget”. They did many little extra things that needed to be done and never asked for any extra $$$.
They cleaned and vacuumed after themselves, took all the construction trash away and even hosed off our deck!
It was a pleasure to watch them work. They shared positive attitude, treated each other with friendly respect, and steadily and increasingly progressed to a mutual goal. A PERFECT JOB!
AND A PERFECT JOB THEY DID!
They were excited and proud of our new, beautiful kitchen as much as we were.
We wish we had another project for them to do.
